Professor Jin-kyung Paik received a commendation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism

Professor Jin-Kyung Paik of the Department of Multimedia at Inje University received a commendation from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Professor Jin-Kyung Paik said that in October last year, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Craft Design Promotion Agency conducted a nationwide study based in Busan.

She served as the organizing committee chairperson for the <2023 Public Design Festival>, which was held in over 100 locations, and successfully completed the entire event.

This earned her recognition for her contribution to the development of the fields of culture, art and design.

<2023 Public Design Festival>, which was held under the theme of <Life without barriers, design for all>, shared the value of public design with citizens,

It was evaluated as having built a consensus to create an equal and better world.

Professor Jin-Kyung Paik is well known as a pioneer in the field of healthcare design, where she created Korea's first university hospital design room.

She served as president of the Korean Design Society and the Korean Color Society, and currently serves as the head of the Culture and Arts Promotion Division at the Korean Federation for Humanities and Social Sciences.

As she practices, she strives to advance and expand the horizons of design studies.
